hydraulic oil
Has anyone used hydraulic oil as their fuel? I have a friend who works at the shire council and he changes the hydraulic oil in all their heavy machinery every 200 hours of use, he said he can save it for me if it can be of use, he said the oil he drains is still crystal clean. Cheers

after finally getting the fuel/air problems sorted, i am know wanting to put a WI system in.
i have acquired a washer bottle and pump, a small micro switch and some tubing.
the bottle will sit in the back next to the wco drums and basically follow the same path to the engine. a micro switch will be situated on the throttle bracket and only come on under full throttle.
my biggest problem tho, is, how much of a jet/spray do i need to have going into the air intake? i have crimped a small ali tube down so that a small jet of water is coming out, but how much is too much? does it have to be a misty type spray or a very fine jet?
i know that Geewizz has crimped down a copper tube around a pin and that suits his engine, but his is turbo’d, does this make a difference?
i know the water/metho is to cool down the air intake slightly and to also cause a small amount of steam in the combustion process.
so guys, who has WI and what did you do for the jet/spray?
thanks in advance

Forum is back from a failure
This did not happen at a good time for me, but I’ve stolen some hours from my rest and sanity and eventually the forum is up again. In order to get it here, I’ve had to erase much of the customisations I’ve created over the years. The immediate result this morning to my labours of the last few…
I’m going to get some breakfast, throw away the rest of my Saturday and begin to re-secure the forum from this sort of thing. I don’t know why I bother.
