Hi, I am new to the forums and also to making Bio. I have made three batches and have been having problems with the washing. I make batches of 50 litres and do three washes of 10 litres(water) using a watering can and tank bubbler. After the first wash the mix is like milk and when I take a sample it never separates. I drain off what I think is 10 litres and wash again. At this point I can see the water. The Bio is still milky. I do a third wash and let it sit for 4 days. My previous two batches were ok but my last one never separated. Can anyone tell me what is going wrong and how to fix it. Ta

I use one of these as vacuum shutdown in my diesel converted W123 (ex 280E) as the car did not have provision for a vacuum valve on the ignition switch body. I had 12V Ign. at the engine bay (from the engine ignition module) so I wired up a vacuum solenoid to block vacuum when 12V was present. It works well and despite having 12V on it all of the time the ignition is on, it has not shown any ill effects at all in the 18 months I have used the car since conversion”

i wired up turbo time but am stuck with how to make it close solenoid? the timer only puts out 12v while counting down? how do you wire the vac solenoid!!!!! most frustrating

IP return line blocked at pump
Has anyone ever had the return line of the injector pump stop?? The van is down on power and thinking was a fuel starve problem I changed the diesel filter but to no avail. Next i directly connected some clear pvc tubing to a fuel container and the inlet and return lines to the IP and the IP…

The van is down on power and thinking was a fuel starve problem I changed the diesel filter but to no avail. Next i directly connected some clear pvc tubing to a fuel container and the inlet and return lines to the IP and the IP was not pumping anything out the return.

Could this be why the van is down on power???

hydraulic fluid for fuel?
just wandering if anyone knows for sure if you can use hydraulic fluid for fuel in a diesel. i’ve read you can and i’ve read you can’t!? also if you can will it blend with wvo, deisel, bio? i can get a couple hundred litres free so am keen to find the truth, so to speak!:)
